Systematically complaining about incorrect services

today’s most of part of our critical societal/technological operations are service oriented like banking, telecom (mobile/broadband), tasks govt. offices, people/goods transportation, etc, etc,.  Since these services are delivered by a group of individual as a company or service provider, there often occurs various issues in the service causing deterioration in the service quality to the end users/customers.

It’s always the customer who loses time, efforts, money, opportunity and results due to the service provider inadequate processes or activities unless he complains back for claim of his loss there will not be any improvement in the service provider service quality.

Here are various avenues where a customer can complain about any service disruption/deterioration and receive the valued service:

  1. Report to the service provider customer care center
    1. Usually every corporate service provider ensure a toll free number to hear about the customer grievances. Register to complaint and ask the complaint registration number
    2. Write email to their customer care center or register an online complain, this will be more helpful in case you have to claim the loss in a legal proceedings
    3. Reach out to the nearest customer care center in person and report the issue.  Most often this option fails as the persons there will misdirect due to their inadequate knowledge on the issue you have. Always prefer option#2.
  2. If the customer care service desk fails to resolve the issue
    1. Redirect the case to the next level of support
    2. If there is no next level, write the complain explaining the situation to the regional head offices
    3. If you don’t hear from the regional head office, write to the State Nodal Officers
    4. If still not resolved, write to their Appellate Authority
  3. If none of the service provider customer help you resolve your issue
    1. Include the regional police officer e-mail (say email address listed in Hyderabad Police )
    2. Then register your grievance at PORTAL FORPUBLIC GRIEVANCES
    3. Also report your issue in Indian Consumer Court online Forum
    4. Then finally lodge the case in regional consumer court with all the documents of the so far steps you followed
